#Bond_age_ has retired to an undisclosed remote island where you will never find us. We definitely did not let Bizarro Freddie Mercury blow us up.

Credits Remixed

The World is Not Enough Opening Remixed w/ Beyond the Wizards Sleeve

As I corrected a few formatting issues in the #Bond_age_ jump page, I noticed that The World is Not Enough lacked an Opening Titles Remix. That had to be fixed, and it just so happened I've had a...

Live and Let Die Opening Remixed with The Cult

Replace Sir Paul? Why not? Sometimes even the classics need a day off. I knew immediately which song I wanted to use... thematics and all that fire jazz led me to The Cult's "Fire Woman"...

Spectre Opening Remixed w/ Lana Del Rey

Let us never speak of that other Spectre song ever again. Never. I'm not joking. That that guy was chosen over Lana Del Rey's "24" is one of the great crimes against humanity. I'm only slightly...

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Opening Remixed with Chicago

The instrumental opening to On Her Majesty's Secret Service is a John Barry classic. It was even updated by the Propellerheads with some divine 90's electronic vibes. I'm not sure why I was...

The Spy Who Loved Me Opening Remixed w/ The Last Shadow Puppets

I've had this song from the Last Shadow Puppets on the Opening-Remix back burner for years. I never quite found the right fit. Seeing as how this week marked the 40th Anniversary of The Spy Who Love...

#Bond_age_ Licence to List: Bond Theme Rankings As an introduction to the next series of Bond posts leading up to the release of SPECTRE, the #Bond_age_ powers have come together with a cumulative rank of their favorite Bond theme songs. And yes we're piggybacking on...

Pre-Title Sequences: Licence to List

We've been delinquent on our list-making. Our apologies. I blame Spectre for anything that's gone haywire at #Bond_age_. I'm sure Waltzfeld had something to do with the fact that we started making this list more than a year ago and it's just now seeing the light of...

James Bond Movie Rankings: Licence to List

I've always resisted widely publicizing my full James Bond Movie Rankings. I've resisted because a simple ranking system of all 24 films seemed to undermine the spirit of James Bond enjoyment. Fans of 007 find entertainment in even the diciest Bonds. Maybe I've had a...

Custom DVD Covers

The Man with the Golden Gun #Bond_age_ Collection DVD Cover

The Golden Gun is one of the most iconic props in the entire Bond series. It only seemed fitting then to break the gun down into it’s fascinating component parts (with extra 1970’s film grain!) for the cover of The Man with the Golden Gun #Bond_age_ Collection custom DVD cover. Sadly, I could find no place to hide Sheriff Pepper with the back devoted to the infamous slide whistle. I’ll just have to put him on the cover of the insert book. I don’t mean to pat myself on the back (too much) for this cover but I f’ing love it.

#Bond_age_ Essays and Features

The Immaculate Revenge of Licence to Kill

This essay on Licence to Kill is the sixteenth essay in a 24-part series about the James Bond cinemas co-created by Sundog Lit. I encourage everyone to read the other essays, comment and join in on the conversation about not only the films themselves, but cinematic trends, political and other...
