#Bond_age_ falls off the wagon again with IMPOSTOR EDITION #3: the Our Man Flint Live Tweet!
There’s an IMPOSTOR in our midst. His name is Flint, Derek Flint. Arguably, the Derek Flint films were the pinnacle of the lucrative James Bond spoof/spinoff genre of the 1960’s. In fact, there was even a spoof/spinoff of Our Man Flint produced in Italy during the same year called Il vostro super agente Flit. Derek Flint’s legacy has even survived parallel to James Bond. The “Presidential Hotline” ringtone has appeared in Hudson Hawk and Austin Powers. And I would wager to guess that few people remember/recognize that the name “Hans Gruber” originally came from Our Man Flint. I guess all that’s left to say is Z.O.W.I.E.!
