Hell. I offer up perhaps the best spy spinoff of the 1960’s for #Bond_age_ IMPOSTOR #5 and three people (including myself) show up to enjoy the festivities. This is why we can’t have nice things! Some of you were on dates. Some of you were watching the Red Sox clinch the World Series. Others had pre-Halloween family shenanigans. Check. In the end all these absent tweeters just meant more Bulldog Drummond, Irma and Penelope for us.

For the very first #DriveInMob and #Bond_age_ Crossover event we chose the Murderer’s Row Live Tweet. #DriveInMob had done Matt Helm before, but not Murderer’s Row. So because I thought it was the best of the Helms… well, it had to be done. Dean Martin just oozes cool all over the screen and when you pair Dean Martin’s booze and turtlenecks with Ann-Margaret’s chicken dress and 10-lb. eyelashes, you get the Murderer’s Row Live Tweet Session. #Bond_age_ Impostor #4 did not let us down.

A #Bond_age_ fan poll chose the OUR MAN FLINT Live Tweet for our third IMPOSTOR EDITION of #Bond_age_. As my personal favorite Bond spinoff/spoof of the 1960’s I was excited… and as it turned out, I wasn’t the only one. Our Man Flint became the first IMPOSTOR warm and fuzzy twatter-thon after, uh, lukewarm receptions for both Never Say Never Again and Casino Royale (1967).

Our IMPOSTOR EDITION 2: CASINO ROYALE (’67) would draw even fewer tweeters than NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN. Inconceivable. But would this motley skeleton crew give good #Bond_age_? Or just wilt beneath the barrage of insanity? It’s hard work keeping up with #CR67… hard goddamn work. I’ll refrain from including explanations/interjections between tweets because, well, that would be antithetical to he spirit of the movie itself.
