On Wednesday, August 17th, we, the #Bond_age_ simpletons tackled the epic ZARDOZ in honor of Sean Connery’s 86th birthday. And when we say, we “tackled” ZARDOZ, I mean we confronted our mortality in the form of Rampling boobs, Sean Connery sweater fondling and penciled on evil overlord mustaches. We will never be the same.
#Bond_age_ programmed the middle bits of #TheFutureIsNow Live Tweet. It was a lively sort of evening — perhaps as the #Bond_age_ segment of the Back to the Future Trilogy happened on the actual Back to the Future Day on October 21. Or we just love Back to the Future 2. The numbers dwindled for the Time Bandits night cap, but it wasn’t Time Bandits Day. So…
Thanks to everyone that participated in one or all (Hi, @revmagdalen!) of the #TheFutureIsNow Live Tweets. Hopefully we can form like Voltron again sometime in the near future.
The evening began with a 10-minute intro bumper video with trailers from #Bond_age_Cinemas leading directly into Back to the Future 2 and then Time Bandits.
From the Orient with Fury represents the middle bits of the Ken Clark 077 Italian EuroSpy trilogy. It’s kooky, poorly edited but all brawny Ken Clark fists and fury, cardigans and $10 whiskey. If you’re missing out on Ken Clark, you’re really missing out.

FROM THE ORIENT WITH FURY is the second of three Italian Eurospy films featuring Ken Clark and directed by Sergio Grieco. #Bond_age_
I’m back in the saddle after what feels like months away. An 8-day road trip with the kids with little consistent Interweb access and a couple of missed live tweets makes me feel like I’m lost in the world, adrift and without good #Bond_age_. So my first order of business was old business. A few brave twatterers took on IN LIKE FLINT without me. They did yeoman’s work. Though I missed out on the fun, I’m here to compile and share the fun with you.
